DAI Magister is pleased to announce the appointment of Marc Deschamps as Co-Head. A tech entrepreneur and corporate leader with a highly successful M&A and fundraising track record spanning multiple sectors in Europe, North America, and emerging markets, Marc brings over 30 years’ experience leading over 80 transactions.
Marc will be leading international expansion and focusing on driving revenue growth for DAI Magister’s growth financings and sell-side M&A services in the UK, Europe and emerging markets, with a focus on climate, fintech, communications and tech enabled commerce. These are areas in which we have already built a strong track record and where Marc has many years of experience and deep expertise.
Prior to DAI Magister, Marc was co-founder, Managing Partner and Executive Chairman of Drake Star Partners one of the leading global tech investment banking firms where he led numerous landmark, cross border and unicorn transactions in the field of new energy/mobility, commerce, electronics and communication infrastructure.
He brings with him not only his strength of leadership, having served as COO broadband at BT Group Plc and co-founder/COO at Chello NV where he led the multi-billion-pound broadband launch and roll out in the UK and Europe, but also his international tech experience of M&A transactions, accomplished with the likes of Google, Nokia, Orange, Sony, Qualcomm, EDF, SFR, and Saint Gobain to name a few.
