We are pleased to announce two significant appointments. Former Jimmy Choo CEO, Pierre Denis, and corporate director and former Agent-General for Québec, Pierre Gabriel Côté, join as senior advisors, bringing with them years of leadership, expansion, and private equity experience to the DAI Magister team.

An investor, M&A advisor, and expert in the development of international brands, Pierre Denis has decades of experience in building and running some of the most well-known retail businesses in the world. Since 2012, Pierre served as the Chief Executive Officer of Jimmy Choo Group Limited where he steered the brand through its IPO and established the brand’s strong presence and digital capabilities in Asia, building on his comprehensive experience in global luxury fashion, retail, digital retail and brand management.

Pierre joined LVMH’s Perfumes & Cosmetics division in 1992 and went on to become Asia Pacific Managing Director for Parfums, Christian Dior, in 1999. He was appointed Managing Director of LVMH Perfumes and Cosmetics for Asia Pacific and went on to become Managing Director of Christian Dior Couture in Europe, the Middle East and India.

Pierre’s expertise lies in the retail and eCommerce tech space, including Artificial Intelligence, Virtual Reality experience, unified commerce, and frictionless payments. Since leaving Jimmy Choo he served as senior advisor to the Board of Coty and now invests in retail tech start-ups.

Pierre Gabriel Côté is a corporate director and seasoned leader with nearly 40 years of experience and has headed up organisations across multiple sectors. This includes specifically in aeronautics as well as in international economic trade and investment.

A seasoned change agent, Pierre Gabriel has been responsible for several corporate and operational transformations, including as President of Bombardier Business Aircraft and CEO of Investment Québec, the financial arm of the Québec government where he led many investment projects, often with external investors, in strategic economic sectors such as AI, digitisation, transport technologies and sustainability/climate tech.

Amongst other, he is proud of the 4.0 Manufacturing initiative generating automation/digitisation over $8.5 billion worth of projects over 4 years. As Agent-General of Québec in London, Pierre Gabriel further increased Québec’s exports to the UK and Scandinavia by 10% while the world was dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic.
